I have an odd OpenSSH compatablity issue
I am on Solaris 2.8 with openssh 2.3.0p1 and openssl 0.9.6.
The remote machine is running ssh.com 1.2.20 and Solaris 2.6.
I think the problem has to do with the 1.2.20 KeyRegeneration, because in
the next hour I will beable to get into the machine ok with openssh and
then later in the day I will not beable to ssh in again for another hour.
ssh -v -v sa at myhost.com
SSH Version OpenSSH_2.3.0p1, protocol versions 1.5/2.0.
Compiled with SSL (0x0090600f).
debug: Reading configuration data /home1/sa/.ssh/config

OGG --> MP3 conversion app?
...drop folders to reencode
to MP3 would be a very nice thing to have indeed. Kinda like oggdrop but
mp3drop.
if there isn't i might just attempt to write one (i'm just 1st year
university student with a smattering of win32 API/java swing knowlage so
i don't know how good/far i'll beable to get)

Transfer rate issues with OpenSSH SFTP Server - Verified on Mac OS X 10.2.X and FreeBSD 5.0
...files increases
to 800-1000KB/s still below what it should be but substantially better.
Performing similar transfers in the other direction, using the VShell
sftp server and sftp clients on the other boxes, the transfer rate is in
the order of 3000-4000KB/s. These are all modern boxes that should
beable to do AES-256/Twofish at more than adequate rates to sustain the
transfer, so the only thing I can think of that would be causing the
problem would be some bug in the OpenSSH sftp server.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

menu position
Is there any way to move the menu's position further down the screen?
I know that the width of the menu box, it's position from the left and it's
height can be changed. It would be nice to beable to have it centered in
the screen.

Subnet / routing question
...The config on system C looks like this
Cipher = blowfish
Compression = 0
Digest = sha1
IndirectData = Yes
Port = 655
Subnet = 5.3.0.0/16
Subnet = 192.168.200.0/24
TCPonly = Yes
-----BEGIN RSA PUBLIC KEY-----
....
-----END RSA PUBLIC KEY-----
So I thought that this was al that is neccesary to beable to connect
from system C to the 192.168.0.0 subnet on system A
But when I ping or traceroute on system C to 192.168.0.16 (an existing
ip on the subnet of system A) it simply uses the default gw on system C
which of course cannot find that ip.
So, my question is, Do I have to manually add routes...

seeking Icecast ninja
I'm in charge of developing a huge music project. Streaming audio
content broadcasting multiple channels, live events, dynamically
generated playlists, and more will be a feature of the site. I've
installed Icecast and spent a lot of time trying to get it functional
without much success. I have a massive amount of stuff to coordinate so

Advice on HIGHMEM
Given that dom0 is itself doesn''t managed the memory directly that you
only need to compile HIGHMEM4G into the dom0 or domU kernels if you
intend to use more than 1G in one domX instances.
ie. Even if you have more than 1Gb of total physical memory, if none of
the domX use more than 1Gb of memory, there is no need to compile in
HIGHMEM4G.
Or, does dom0 need to be compiled with this in

I have been using SAMBA 2.?.? package for file serving for years and just
upgraded to 3.0.0 via the 'samba-3.0.0-2_rh8.i386.rpm' package, now my users

we have a problem with the same userid's in different domains.

fallbackmount use
Hi,
I'm using the FallBackmount which work great.
However I have a lot of Micro source-drops and then my listeners are moved
to the fallback mountpoint ( normal ) but there is no mechanism to move
them back to the main mountpoint when it become available again. I then
moved my listener through the web interface .
Is that a feature implemented/planned ?
