I am very new to Linux and Samba. I have set up a Linux server and connected it to my Win2003 network as an Intranet. I now want to set up Samba to administer the Linux server from a WinXP station. I have read the start of the documentation and it talks about the Samba server having a name - mine doesn't - how do I give it one? Also I need a domain name - is this the domain name of the Win2003 network, ie harrogategs ? TIA John Marsh
