samba - Sep 2002 - Problem: authorise_login: refusing user with no session setup

Hi,

We are running Samba-2.2.6pre2 as a PDC with Win2kSP2-clients and we had 
the same problem running samba-2.2.5 and Win2k. We had NT4-client 
running previous versions of samba-2.2.x and have never had the same 
problem.

Samba is compiled from source on Solaris8 running YP.

We have everything up and running but sometimes users get a dialog-box 
just saying "Access denied" when they try to access any 
network-resources. They have logged in ok and can open some files before 
the problem appears. The problem doesn't seem to be user-depedent, it 
can happen to any user on any machine randomly.

Is this a known bug or something you can do anything about? Killing the 
smbd-process makes the win2k-client reconnect and everything works 
again. The user can open files and work.

If you truss the smbdprocess when the problem have ocurred you see:

Before the problem:

60001 matches the user and group nobody from /etc/passwd and 18097 
matches the current users UID and GID from YP.

The samba-log says (log level = 2) when the error occured:
