[Asterisk-Users] Configuring for outbound calls with PRI on T100P
I run a SIP-only shop with a 23 channel PRI and single T100P. Here are my configs: /etc/zaptel.conf: span=1,0,0,esf,b8zs bchan=1-23 dchan=24 loadzone = us defaultzone=us /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf [channels] context=default switchtype=dms100 signalling=pri_cpe pridialplan=unknown rxwink=300 ; Atlas seems to use long (250ms) winks usecallerid=no hidecallerid=no callwaiting=no callwaitingcallerid=yes threewaycalling=yes transfer=no cancallforward=yes callreturn=yes echocancel=128 echocancelwhenbridged=yes rxgain=0.0 txgain=0.0 group=1 immediate=no musiconhold=default channel => 1-23 -----Original Message----- From: Ken McKittrick [mailto:klmac@usadatanet.net] Sent: Wednesday, April 09, 2003 3:21 PM To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Configuring for outbound calls with PRI on T100P Hello I've got Asterisk running and accepting inbound calls. When I try to place an outbound call from a Cisco 7960 SIP phone, I get an immediate Fast Busy. Does anyone have examples configurations for this? Here's what I have in zapata.conf, extensions.conf is pretty much what came with the samples. switchtype = national signalling = pri_cpe group = 1 channel => 1-16 ; context = local swtichtype = national signalling = pri_cpe group = 2 channel = 17-23 Ken McKittrick _______________________________________________ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

Dustin Well, that's not it, must be something in the dialplan in extensions.conf. [Asterisk-Users] Configuring for outbound calls with PRI on T100P
Only problem is if a user takes longer than 5 seconds to dial the number. Here's a copy of my dialplan.xml if it helps: <DIALTEMPLATE> <TEMPLATE MATCH="0" Route="Default" Timeout="1" User="Phone"/> <!-- Local operator --> <TEMPLATE MATCH="9,011*" Route="Default" Timeout="6" User="Phone"/> <!-- International calls --> <TEMPLATE MATCH="9,0" Route="Default" Timeout="8" User="Phone"/> <!-- PSTN Operator --> <TEMPLATE MATCH="9,11" Route="EMERGENCY" Timeout="0" User="Phone" Rewrite="9911"/> <!-- --> <TEMPLATE MATCH="w!" Phones should be fairly stupid, but people keep trying to make them smart. My dialplan on my 7960's looks like this: <DIALTEMPLATE> <TEMPLATE MATCH="*" Timeout="5"/> <!-- Anything else --> </DIALTEMPLATE> That's it! The user types a phone number, waits five seconds (or hits the "#" key, or hits the "dial" button) and the Asterisk server handles the call.
