I'm using a firewall distro called pfSense its based on monowall but uses freebsd. They have a live cd (installer as well) that will not boot properly using an external usb 2.0 drive. Fedora Core 4 and Debian boot just fine using this drive. I got to thinking and wondered if it might be possible to boot pfSense's cd using isolinux instead of BTX. thoughts?
