Xen users - May 2009 - How to list IP used by domU

Hello,

I''m trying to script a tool that return all the @ip for all the domU I
have.

Is it possible to have those informations from within the dom0 ? (maybe
by connecting to the domU from the dom0 ?)

If the domU is running I would just run a ifconfig via ssh and parse the
stdout.
If the domU is not running you could mount the virtual disk (or physical
partition) and pull it out of the net conf file(s).

This was discussed a week ago and some very ingenious hacks were  
offered up. Ultimately though, a VM configures it''s own network  
interfaces and so the only trusted source of this info is the domU  
itself.

Thank you all for your answers, but finaly I think I''ll try to connect
directly to domU and get ip(s) from within the host.
