wine users - Aug 2011 - AgeOfConan successfully started but without textures ...

I have run ConanPatcher.exe with -opengl option.

I tried to change default values for Direct3D settings, but  - no effect:

Increase VideoMemorySize value.

That value doesn't have to be exactly the size of your video memory. OpenGL
doesn't let you specify which memory to use (system or video). So this is
why this parameter there in the first place.
