I sent an email a while back, but I'm not sure it ever reached its destination. Basically I'm looking for someone who can help me with some problems I've been having with my window's emulator, running on kde. There are three different problems that I've encountered: 1. While trying to run high-graphics games. I want to know if that is supported in wine, and if it is, whether it uses directx or translates to opengl 2. A few games will not recognize that I have a cdrom drive. Most games do find the CD, but a few ask me to insert the CD--even though it's already in there. 3. One game wants me to switch to 16 bit color. Is that a wine thing, or is that something I have to change with kde. Info on either one would be appreciated. If this email reaches someone who doesn't have answers, please let me know anyway. I'm relatively new to all this email business, and quite unsure of where to send what. If my email address is not displayed, it's kfhankin at gmail.com.
