wine users - Oct 2010 - Cossacks Back To War

I have a problem with Cossacks Back To War. I've just read that it works on
Ubuntu 10 right here

decided to install it on my PC. The problem is that the pointer in the game
doesn't move and I can't play or even start a new game. Any ideas on how
to fix it?
