wine users - Jul 2010 - Wine crash wien diferent games, desont even start

Ok, I'm new here at the forum and I have a doubt:

I tried to play Torchlight and iRO (and there is another game I tried to start
but dont rememebr which one), and I followed all the instruction on the wine
game review but I can't play them, wine just starts (the window of windows
desktop start with the name of "env") then nothing happends the window
just close.

I have winetricks and everything installed and working.

My OS its Ubuntu, the latest version.

I just want to know if that means that my computer can't run the games or
its a wine problem or bad configuration.

Do you mean the AppDB? Those are the only instructions supported here.

Can't tell without more information.

What version of Wine? If it's not 1.2, upgrade. 
What graphics card/driver? 
Pick a game, run it from a terminal, and post whatever messages appear.

Ok, i think iRO its now working (patching already)  just downloaded the missing
.dll files, but torchlight, dont know where to get the .dll or missing files :(

when I run it wih SUDO nothings happends, it says that its not root account that
is it rold user account.

In a clean wineprefix, what do you mean?
