wine users - Jul 2010 - Wine on ubuntu 10.04 and altbinz 0.25

Iinstalled wine under Ubuntu 10.04 (apt-get install wine) and then installed
altbinz 0.25. However starting altbinz fails with an access violation error

Nobody ? Wine version installed under Ubuntu 10.04 is V1.2

Message is "Altbinz 0.25.0 Access Violation at address 005...

Am I running a/the beta wine ? Should I change version  [Question]

As I said it's version 1.2 with a memory violation error
