[Wine] Smoothly alt+cursoring in and out of fullscreen wine games
I've had CS:S installed before and there wasn't a problem. Basically I want to be able to alt+cursor left and right out of Counter Strike: Source to my other workspaces in Ubuntu 9.10, and when I alt+cursor back to the workspace running CS:S let it still in full screen mode. At the moment the game follows me to the new workspace minimized, and I have to manually click on it in my lower panel to refullscreen after rightclicking it back to the correct workspace. I already have the following checked in the graphics tab for hl2.exe: Allow DirectX apps to stop the mouse leaving their window Allow the window manager to decorate the windows Allow the window manager to control the windows Emulate a virtual desktop 1280x1024 (monitor optimal and the same as CS:S' configuration) I've tired different combinations of the options but it only seemed to make things worse, the same settings are configured for Eve Online and I can alt-cursor out no problem, and as I've already said there was no problem on my previous install of CS:S.

[Wine] Re: Smoothly alt+cursoring in and out of fullscreen wine games
I've tried downgrading to 1.2rc-3, 2, 1 and previous versions, and none of them worked so I'm back to rc5. Surely there's a fix for this? I know WINE is coded, and I know that's something I can't do and I can't fix this problem myself right now, but as it works all but perfectly apart from the small problem of following me minimized to workspaces I'm tempted to say that it seems like such a simple thing and surely there must be a fix?
