Ok I have a few questions, I wanted to know first If I can install the windows system any where other then C:/.wine , because my C hard drive is the smallest drive I have , and I want to install my games on a different drive. Also , I'm installing steam through Wine, and it's asking me where to install too, my question is can I install it any where I want or does it need to be installed in my home / .wine / program files folder?

This is a virtual windows drive that exists in your linux home folder. John
I don't have windows installed on this computer so I already know that. But all my other programs seemed to install themselves to that home .wine / program files folder , so I assumed that all my programs need to go there .
Right on, write on about whatever you feel best.

Also you may consider creating more than 1 virtual windows installation. This way you can experiment with settings and also keep some applications separate from others. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-f2f5f3bc795247f11962ea613a1f9e15657ad552 John
