contour lines intersect
Hi, Sorry if this is already known... contour() sometimes draws contour lines that intersect. Is there a temporary fix? A dataset which causes problems is at http://www.maths.uwa.edu.au/~adrian/dumpdata.R If you try just source("dumpdata.R") image(huh) contour(huh) the 100 x 100 matrix 'huh' contains an hourglass-shaped region of values around 0.8. The contour plot shows two contour lines at the level 0.8 which cross each other in a figure 8. In the short term can anyone suggest how to fix the contour plot for this particular dataset...

Using UNIX passwords
I'm sure this is a FAQ, though I couldn't find it in any FAQ or the docs... How do I have Samba authenticate users via the local UNIX passwd file? -- Gregor Mosheh An NT server can be run by an idiot, and usually is. "If you can't make it good, make it LOOK good." - Bill Gates

Ads server = huh?
All, I've installed a Redhat 9 system with all packages from 3 discs. Now I've removed my samba 2 related packages and installed samba 3 using rpm. After setting up kerberos with my W2k system and testing that out successfully I set up smb.conf with security = ads etc I've also set 'ads server' but this config option causes various samba binaries to report "unknown

Sip.conf: domain=huh?
So I saw mention of a way to allow dialing using SIP URI's on Dave McNett's site at http://slacker.com/~nugget/projects/asterisk/page7 Wow, awesome, I can call anywhere now. However, I think there is a more elegant way of figuring out whether or not the local * server should handle a given domain. Specifically, Dave compares a series of domains within extensions.conf to figure out how to

"insert JDK path on Wine" = huh?
I'm following http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=java_dev&message.id=25929&query.id=182675#M25929 to install the Blackberry Eclipse plugin. I'm stuck at step 4, as I'm not sure what it is asking. I have a basic understanding of Paths within Windows, but don't know how to edit/add/create them within Linux/Wine. Anybody know what I'm supposed

There''s another quirk I wanted to bring up. It''s about the failure message with should_equal and should_be. x.should_equal 2 a.should_not_be nil When they fail they yield messages like: 1 should equal 2 nil should not be nil When I''m caught off guard, which can be often, these messages confuse me. 1 should equal 2? No it shouldn''t. nil should not be
