[Wine] wine not recognizing stick POV hat switches on ubuntu
Hello, I'm having a problem with my stick (Saitek ST290 Pro) under wine on ubuntu - Windows game doesn't respond at all to POV buttons. On Mandriva and debian Lenny everything works - just ubuntu gives me trouble. jstest also responds to the POV buttons. I tried playing with the DirectInput registry entry, but didn't get anywhere. Any suggestions? TIA -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-users/attachments/20090127/8324e147/attachment.htm

Use evdev interface instead of old joydev. Make sure you have at least read access to /dev/input/event* device that correspond to your joystick.

Synaptic says I have xserver-xorg-input-evdev installed and xserver-xorg-input-joystick not installde. Is that what You meant?
