Backporting Xen 3.1 to Etch
Hi,
this morining I was trying to compile xen 3.1 on my Debian Etch (AMD64).
I have a little problem with gcc-multilib. It depends on many packages
that don't exist in Etch. So I brutally remove it from debian/control
and then dpkg-buildpackage.
There was some warning on compilation:
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format of `NEEDED libxenstore.so' not recognized
dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: format

[LLVMdev] llvm-ld file not recognized: File format not recognized
Hi,
When using llvm-ld to link .bc files(compiled with llvm-gcc with option
--emit-llvm), I went into error like: file not recognized: File format not
recognized.
I was confused because llvm-ld is the LLVM linker to link llvm bitcode
files together, then why this error occurred?
I am using llvm 2.9 and the corresponding binary version of llvm-gcc.
It will be appreciated if anyone of you can

forcing linux kernel 3 to recognize cdrom as hdX
Hello,
I have a problem with older version of anaconda linux installer. I have
upgraded kernel in my distro, but, when this anaconda boot with new 3.4.52
kernel, can NOT find cdrom. As far as I understand, this is because the new
kernel recognize cd drive as srX, scdX instead of older hdX with 2.6.18. At
the moment I can not upgrade anaconda and forced this kernel to recognize
it as before.

Just installed the above USB webcam but it is not recognized by dmesg | grep usb, nor does Zoom recognize it. I was under the understanding it should not require a driver, or?
I am running CentOS 7.

[LLVMdev] How to get rid of "xxx not a recognized feature for this target" warning?
Hello LLVMer,
I am currently developing a backend targeting a stack-based VM,
When compiling with targeting to the VM, I got a bunch of outputs below.
Where in code do I miss to add to get rid of these warnings?
'-sse4a' is not a recognized feature for this target (ignoring feature)
'-avx2' is not a recognized feature for this target (ignoring feature)
'-xop' is not a

getting a CentOS6 VM on VMware ESXi platform to recognize a new disk device
Hello all,
Is there a way to recognize a hot-plugged disk (i.e., to get the system to
recognize it and build the appropriate /dev/sd* device for the new device)
without a reboot?
Thanks.
Boris.

...However,
when I try to subset by writing x$y=="Low" or x$y=="High", R does not

Can anybody help me out?

[LLVMdev] [llvm-commits] Bottom-Up Scheduling?
ARM can reuse all the default scoreboard hazard recognizer logic such as recede cycle (naturally since its the primary client). If you can do the same with PPC that's great.
