adding agent with 2 phones to a queue
Hi!
We have alot of users who are having 2 phones, 1 fixed and 1 DECT.
I am looking for a way to log them into a queue and let both phone rings.
Let me try to explain:
0317998975 is a fixed phone, 0317998985 is a DECT. 0317998989 is a queue.
queue add member SIP/0317998975 to 0317998989 works ofc.
sip*CLI> queue show 0317998989
0317998989 has 0 calls (max unlimited) in

Queue not sending call to Agent
Queue not sending call to Agent
I am having an issue and i am not sure if it is a bug or a config issue. I
was originally running Asterisk 1.8.1.1 when I noticed this issue. I
upgraded to 1.8.4.2 to see if that would fix it but it didn't.
The issue is that I have a call queue and the agent dials a number to log
into the queue. When someone calls the queue the first time the call is

how does "wrapuptime" work in queue.conf
Hi list,
I'd like to have the callers to listen to the advertisement (music on
hold) before the agents answer them. So, I have wrapuptime=10 in
queue.conf, but the call still goes straight to the agents without
delay.
Here's my queue.conf:
[general]
persistentmembers = yes
[738]
musiconhold = empty
;musiconhold = default
;announce = q-738
;strategy = ringall
strategy = rrmemory

Agent Penalty
Can anyone shed any light on an issue with agent penalties?
I have 2 queues set up with agents working both queues, but where agent
1 should have a penalty for queue 2 and agent 2 should have a penalty
for queue 1. When a call is sent to either queue, it rings agents with
and without penalties at the same time.
I set up a second system and cannot replicate the issue on the test
system. I

Following on from a posting yesterday from Kevin, I have the following
in the dialplan:

I am on extension 706.
From the CLI:

Odd behaviour with "asterisk -rx"
Hello,
I was planning to use the output of asterisk -rx "show queues" in a
script when I noticed that sometimes asterisk only outputs the first
line of the response. e.g:
debian:/# asterisk -rx "zap show channels"
Chan Extension Context Language MusicOnHold
debian:/# asterisk -rx "zap show channels"

Some minor configuration issues with queues
Hello list !
I have some configuration issues with queues, but I'm sure they are
minor and for someone who has already configured queues it could be
trivial.
This is my queue configuration :

musicclass = default
strategy = ringall
timeout = 20
retry = 5
wrapuptime=15
autofill=yes
autopause=no
maxlen = 0

queue member state in asterisk 1.4
Hi,
My queue members use Local channels and their queue state is "In use" while their hint value is "Idle".
Since I have Ringinuse=no, I'm experiencing issues such as incoming calls waiting too much because the agent's phone isn't ringing even though it's idle/free.
I read somewhere that this is a "known bug" in 1.4 and should be fixed in 1.6. I

Maximum Queue Name Length
Do queue names have a max length? I have a queue named 'oneeighty_techsupp' in queues.conf, and a 'show queues' returns a truncated queue name. Is that just a display bug, or do queues names have a max length of 12?

There seems to be something about SL for queues since when the show
queues CLI command is used, it give something like "SL:0.0% within 0s":

When the asterisk a queue reset their counters?
I 'm talking about this kind of info in asterisk console.

Does anyone know what the various statistics in this line mean?
I'm curious what the C:3, A:3 and SL:0.0% withing 0s parts stand for

wrapuptime?
Hi!
Trying to understand how wrapuptime is working...
I have written a small php script that let agents log in/out
off a queue. That part is working as a clock but wrapuptime
is not doing what I expect.

Queue Penalties not working properly
Hi,
I am using Asterisk 1.4.18. I am implementing Penalties for my agents.
What is happening: two agents configuired one agent with penalty 1 and
the other with penalty 2. All the calls must go first to Agent 1 and if
his line is busy then only then agent 2 will get the call. However my
queues are not behaving in this manner. I have impmemnted ringall
strategy. Now when first call comes it

roundrobin strategy in queues not working as described?
I have set up an operator queue for our receptionist.
That way, if she takes a break or is out, by logging out of the queue,
calls to the "Operator" can be handled by other agents.
I have set strategy = roundrobin in queues.conf.
According to "the book" ATFoT, roundrobin always starts with the first
agent in the queue. This is the desired result. I want all calls to

Periodic-announce in queues
Hei.
I have a question about how to get the periodic-announce to work within

Queues.conf -->
[testqueues]
strategy = ringall

queue show <queue-name> vs queue log for calculating average hold time
Hi
We're using 1.8.23.1 on CentOS 5 and are trying to get accurate stats for
queues.
For a particular customer, when I run queue show <queue_name> I get the
following numbers:
<queue_name> has 0 calls (max unlimited) in 'ringall' strategy (17s
holdtime, 94s talktime), W:0, C:175, A:44, SL:48.6% within 45s
So from that data we look at
17s holdtime
And assume that is the
