Hi all, I've just updated to current CVS, and have 2 polycom IP phones, one is a IP600 and the other is a IP300. The IP600 shows the status of the IP300 and a ZAP line quite nicely, but the IP300 won't show the status of the IP600.... Have a strange problem... When a C7960 calls the Polycom ip600, the ip600's first line button blinks, the ip600 display shows the proper callerid, but the phone does not ring at all. At the most recent project I completed I have to post a intranet web page with instructions on using the system and phones. Asterisk is 1.07 stable and the phones are Polycom IP300, IP500, and IP600. Has anyone done an Astersik users guide? Something non-technical but covering most of the features an office worker would use. If nothing exists, should we develop this as a documentation project?

The piece of plastic is built in to the IP600. Use a screwdriver or something similar and push the little piece of plastic out from the top inside the cradle. Hi, I'm testing a Polycom IP600. With firmware version 1.1 the phone reboots at any time. With firmware version 1.2, the first reboot was an endless reboot. Then I moved the phone to another lan port, then it worked fine. Then I installed again in the initial lan port and the phone works well. However after some time of inactivity (1 hour?), the IP600 stops to send and receive calls.

Hi, I want to reset IP600 to the factory settings but when I press 468* and hold it asks for password? Is there another way? Robert
