X100P connected as extension to Panasonic 616 EASA-PHONE
Hi all. I`ve installed a X100P on my box and is working well with incoming and outgoing calls as a trunk with one PTSN line. I want to connect the X100P to my Panasonic 616 EASA-PHONE as an internal extension to permit to users to make calls to SIP devices from analog phones, the problem is when I dial the ext number where the X100P is connected I get busy tone. X100P "rings" randomly when "phone" line makes call
Not sure if anyone experienced the same - or if anyone ever connected a POTS phone to the "Phone" jack on an X100P card. The POTS phone rings normally when the FXO receives a call. The POTS phone can also make outgoing calls when FXO is not holding the line. This is desired. But if a call connected to the POTS phone lasts longer than a couple of minutes, Asterisk would receive

Any echo issues with phones from TDM400P > X100P
Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a TDM400P card and was wondering if anyone has experienced any echo issues with phones off these cards connecting to the PSTN via the X100P cards? I have had my fingers burnt with a Voip phone > X100P. Cheers, Taff. --------------------------------- ALL-NEW Yahoo! Messenger - sooooo many all-new ways to express yourself -------------- next part

Wilcard X100P doesn't hang up when in Voicemail() and calling party hangs up.
Asterisk 1.0.6-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC7k is installed I have a x100p card and it doesn't detect a hangup from the calling party when going in voicemail(). My PSTN provider is sending open loop disconnect (voltage decrease for a given moment of time). Actually Progress Detection is HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL so it should not be required to fix this problem. I wonder if disconnect supervision is the

X100P: Can I detect/react to CLASS "you got voicemail" signals?
The subject says it all... I have an X100P and I have (for now anyway) Bell Canada's Call Answer which will notify you through one of those nifty CLASS signals that you either do or do not have voicemail. This is not only a "stuttering dialtone" but some actual signal passed so CLASS-aware phones can detect it and flash their message waiting indicator. I'd like to detect

X100P voicemail volume too low (quiet)
Hello, I'm running Asterisk 1.0.6 with zaptel 1.0.6 on Gentoo Linux with a 2.6.11-gentoo-r2 SMP kernel (but no SMP hardware) and mpg123 0.59s-r9. When I leave a voicemail message via my X100P, the message is way too quiet. I can barely hear it. I googled this a bit, and I saw similar complaints with older versions, but no resolutions. Also, many complained that it was only too quiet via

X100P in Australia
G'Day, I need from regarding using the X100P. Some are specific to Australia and I have been told in IRC there are already existing users in oz, so I would appreciate your input. 1) Is the X100P Australia telco approved? 2) I have setup asterisk with X100P and whenever I dial in I cannot get any callerid information. Is this standard behaviour? If not how have other australian users managed

btrfsprogs: cases of snapshot failures
Since btrfs does not do recursive atomic snapshots (which I am ok with), I am doing this myself. A handful of suggestions/problems came up. 1. Maybe btrfsprogs could gain an option to do recursive non-atomic snapshots at the userspace level, simply invoking low-level atomic snapshots one by one? For the following, the kernel is 3.4.4 with the too-overloaded "0.19" version of

Problem with Dutch PSTN-line on X100P
Yo all, I have a problem with a Dutch (KPN) PSTN-line, connected to an X100P. The call wil sound OK at first, but after 10-20 minutes, the audio will start to crackle. Soon after that, this crackle turns into a continuous noise and the parties won't be able to hear eachother anymore. It also sometimes happens that the party on the TDM400P hears a very loud, short-delay echo of themselves,
