Have a strange problem... When a C7960 calls the Polycom ip600, the ip600's first line button blinks, the ip600 display shows the proper callerid, but the phone does not ring at all. I would like to modify the CIDName and leave CIDNumber as exactly what the phone call came in as(provided they aren't hiding callerID). Hello list: I have a very odd problem. Seemingly randomly, my Polycom IP600 phones will ring without a call being placed to it. That is to say, a random phone will ring. Nothing shows up under Caller ID. Even the buttons that light up to show an incoming call do not light up. If you pick up the handset, you can hear the phone ring through the speaker. Hi all, I've just updated to current CVS, and have 2 polycom IP phones, one is a IP600 and the other is a IP300. The IP600 shows the status of the IP300 and a ZAP line quite nicely, but the IP300 won't show the status of the IP600.... I am using Polycom IP600 phone. If I call a phone which has DND (do not disturb) enabled, the message to the caller will be "The person on extension ... is on the phone, please leave a message ...". Is there a way to pick the "person ... not available" message instead?

Hi, I'm testing a Polycom IP600. With firmware version 1.1 the phone reboots at any time. With firmware version 1.2, the first reboot was an endless reboot. Then I moved the phone to another lan port, then it worked fine. Then I installed again in the initial lan port and the phone works well. However after some time of inactivity (1 hour?), the IP600 stops to send and receive calls.

Hello, I have configured my polycom ip600 and ip500. The phone works well. But the clock is wrong and flashes the whole time. Drives me nuts! I have set the time offset on the DHCP / boot server. 36000 (I'm in Australia!) It doesn't seem to help... Mike
