darkice connection error
Wanted to give a quick update. The problem still exists but I may have isolated the problem a bit. I tried to stream to the icecast server using both liveice and holyshout. Neither could connect. I also had a friend (thx vanguardist) attempt to stream remotely to my server. He received a connection error as well. It would appear to me (in my AMATEUR opinion) that the icecast server is not accepting connectons. Any adice? chris. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://w...

Vorbis Hardware List

I think it might be a good addition to Vorbis.com, to go along with the software lists, because for some, hardware support is very important. Anyway, I haven't gotten any replies from vanguardist@cox.net or feedback@vorbis.com, so I thought I'd remind people about it here. -- Tom Felker --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-request@xiph.org' containi...

Directory Listings
That's a little odd, there are streams listed at yp.icecast.org... What's up with that? And of course my question on other directory servers still stands. --thanks Michael Edwards http://www.walledcity.ca >===== Original Message From Manuel Lora <vanguardist@cox.net> ===== >Icecast.org no longer hosts the yp directory. > >ml > > >On Saturday 05 April 2003 04:56 pm, M Edwards wrote: >> The default configuration file for icecast comes with a directory listing >> for oddsock, but not icecast.org or any others.
