samba - Sep 2009 - samba slave with winbind fails to communicate with the PDC

Hi all,

After the net rpc join successfuly established to the Samba PDC (net
rpc testjoin ok), the following commands fail:

# wbinfo -u
Error looking up domain users
# wbinfo -g
Error looking up domain groups
#wbinfo -t
checking the trust secret via RPC calls failed
Could not check secret
# net rpc testjoin
Join to 'RSP' is OK

It appears that, still under valid relationship with the PDC Samba
server, the winbind does not get the list from the PDC.

I have zeroed this server /var/lib/samba and started samba and winbind
again, rejoined the domain successfuly,
but i can't get wbinfo work.

My /etc/nsswitch.conf:

The samba version in the PDC Server is exactly the samba that of this server.

Please, what should i do?

What Samba version are you using ? On the client and on the PDC.
