Objet: [Samba] Successfuly Building Samba 2.2.X under HP-UX 11i with gcc
Hello,
Here is my solution to building samba 2.2.3a and 2.2.8a under HP-UX 11i.
The compilers used are gcc-2.95.3 (fixed for HP-Ux 11i) and gcc-3.1.1.
Compilations fail because the C headers have changed and cause previously
successful AN...

6.02 won't boot XP. 6.01 works slowly, but successfuly.
Due to a strange reason, my patch broke chainloading on 6.02.
Working hard on it to find the root of the problem.
I'm currently working on the MultiFS support, and hopefully the
booting process will be faster for XP as an example.

How to get the c/s 15011(unstable)
Folks,
I download the Neocleus 1:1 patch from following link:
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2007-05/msg01144.html
Currently I want to add Neocleus 1:1 Patch to the xen-3.1.0 to make the
HVM guest grab the device directly. When I add these patches and
recompile and install the Xen source and try to start the HVM guest, the
HVM guest can not start and the system hang.

Prints ok, but says "Access denied, unable to connect". win2k and samba 2.2.1a
I have a small Samba 2.2.1a plus Win2k workgroup. Samba is running on
Redhat
7.2.
There is a networked laserjet 5000 using a static IP which I can print
to
successfuly from the linux box, and from the win2k workstations via the
queue
on the linux box.
The weird thing is that, on the win2k worksations, if I double click on
the
printer icon the status of the printer is reported as
"Access denied, unable to connect". Yet it works???

Extracting lists in the dataframe $ format
I'm new to R and am trying to extract the factors of a dataframe using numeric indices (e.g. df[1]) that are input to a function definition instead of the other types of references (e.g. df$out). df[1] is a list(?) whose class is "dataframe". These indexed lists can be printed successfuly but are not agreeable to the plot() and lm() functions shown below as are their df$out references. Reading the documentation for plot and lm hasn't helped yet. Thanks in advance - Stan.

acts_as_versioned and acts_as_taggable on same model?
I am trying to use acts_as_versioned and acts_as_taggable (plugin) on
the exact same model. Has anyone successfuly done this? I think
what I need to do is make model_versions acts_as_taggable instead of
my main model. Anyone have any other suggestions or any suggestions
how to do this?

LiveVoip DTMF Issues
I have a couple of DID's with LiveVoip and am having major DTMF issues
on incoming calls. I am connecting to them through IAX using ULAW.
When someone dials one of these DD's (from a landline) they are for
the most part unable to navigate the IVR menu successfuly. I would say
the failure rate is greater than 80%. For example if the caller
presses 5 sometimes * will see the DTMF as 55 or 555 or not see it at
all.
Is there anything I can do on my end to fix this problem, or is the
old axim you get what you pay for true?
It should also be noted that I have s...

4.0 with on the fly account creation (I have root in LDAP). Now I'm
able to manage my samba3 with user manager for domains from srvtools,
