Hi. All, I've been reading the docs but I'm not too sure when I should run a WINS server. Just to confirm, I only need a WINS server if I have more than one workgroup? or more than one subnet? Otherwise the DNS server should be sufficient, right? (My router uses static dchp to keep track of hostnames for each machine.) My home network: * User-level security * 3 linux boxes with 2 windows machines -- the 3 linux boxes file sharing with samba * All machines in one workgroup * All machines in one subnet
