samba - Jun 2006 - HW configuration

Hi all,

i need to install a samba server .


we need to make a server for sharring file , don't need no
autetication.

we have a 100 connection/min
no more than 10 block/min
the volume of storage is smaller - don't over 1 G
hi availability = all time  100%  we can't shutdown the server..


how i can find the best HW configuration for this type server. any way
, what kind of
linux version is better for this, any tip?
