It sure could be :) I know that Jerry (Carter) of the samba team was looking at this a while ago (psexec) but I guess he's been busy with the Samba4 TP. Samba TNG has a command called cmdat which will let you schedule commands on a win box using the at command. www.samba-tng.org By using the /now parameter you can execute commands directly. This is not the best solutions but it is workable until Jerry has made his magic coding. :) Cheers, Henrik 9 mar 2006 kl. 17:33 skrev Michael Billerbeck:> > hi, > > is there a possibility to start a windows program remotely from > linux via > samba share? > > thanks, > michael > > -- > To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the > instructions: https://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba

Results thus far of the psexec discussion talked about on this thread already. -- Michael Lueck Lueck Data Systems http://www.lueckdatasystems.com/ Remove the upper case letters NOSPAM to contact me directly.
