I'm pulling my hair out on this one... I'm using Suse 9.3 with their
current release of samba 3.0.13...
in my smb.conf I have
hosts allow = 129.219 149.169 127
Still, I get
[2005/06/07 17:14:56, 4] lib/time.c:get_serverzone(125)
Serverzone is 25200
[2005/06/07 17:14:56, 3] lib/access.c:only_ipaddrs_in_list(291)
only_ipaddrs_in_list: list has non-ip address (127)
[2005/06/07 17:14:56, 3] lib/access.c:check_access(316)
check_access: hostnames in host allow/deny list.
[2005/06/07 17:14:56, 0] lib/access.c:check_access(328)
Denied connection from teancum.pp.asu.edu (129.219.69.212)
[2005/06/07 17:14:56, 1] smbd/process.c:process_smb(1084)
Connection denied from 129.219.69.212
I have the firewall turned OFF. I have set my password correctly. Now
I'm just lost. It looks like the hosts allow entry is failing.. but
what should it?
