Do the users that are logging on to the Windows machine have an account on the Linux machine (ie user tinlinux on win2k and user tinlinux on RedHat)? Does this (linux) user have read/write permission for the shared directory/ files? I solved it by adding NT-AUTHORITY group to local Administrators. There are probably more elegant solutions, but I sincerely believe users should be administrators on their workstations and not bother the admins for every little adjustment of their working environment. _____________________________________________________________ Get 25MB, POP3, Spam Filtering with LYCOS MAIL PLUS for $19.95/year. http://login.mail.lycos.com/brandPage.shtml?pageId=plus&ref=lmtplus
