I applied the signorseal patch. just now, rebooted windows. same error the credentials supplied conflict with an existing set of credentials isn't this what samba is supposed to do ?? share a linux box on a windows network? what am I doing out of the ordinary? I found 2 passwd files one in /usr/bin/ and one in /etc/ then 2 smbpasswd files one in /usr/bin/ and one in /etc/samba/ is this normal or should there only be one of each??
