samba - Jul 2002 - Setting Samba Password Through Script

I am trying to create a script to set the Samba password. I see in the man
pages a '-s' option but can't get the syntax to work.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have done it like that in my scripts:

/usr/sbin/useradd -g users -c 'Samba User' -s /bin/false -m $NAME

/usr/bin/smbpasswd -a $NAME $INITPASS
