Is this possible? Here is my situation, due to extrenuous circumstances
I have one office(192.168.9.0) going through a NAT to another office
(192.168.6.0 - which yet again goes through another NAT to the outside
world). For the moment, there is no way to change this network config
for various reasons. We're stuck like this for at least another 2 weeks.
Previously, we didn't have any problems with users on the .9 network
accessing file sharing from our smb server on the .6 network. This last
weekend, the power went out, and something mysterious happened. And now
computers that try to logon to our smb box on the .6 net get an "access
denied - user/pass not verified" message when they try to log in from
their work stations. Does anyone know any way around this? I've played
with remote browser sync settings and have tried setting up a second
domain on the .9 network which links with the .6 network, but it doesn't
seem to be working so far. I made a route on the linux box doing file
sharing showing it how to access the .9 network through the nat box. Any
suggestions? Comments?
