Mysterious tables starting with "stats_"
I have a server which I haven't installed that I have to maintain. This server
uses MySQL, it has an asterisk database and in there some mysterious tables:
stats_action, stats_agent, stats_callid, stats_config, stats_estados,
stats_qstats, stats_queue, stats_queuexagent. I say mysterious because I
don't have a clue about who is generating them. I did a grep for their names
in /var, /root and /etc with no luck. Does anybody have any...

Hi all,
I have few sites which interconnected using a dedicated link.
During these few weeks I've found that there are some mysterious traffic

I can know this because after working hours, only few applications are
running and it did not generate this kind of traffic.
Anyone can advice how to detect what kind of traffic that consumes those
bandwith?

Mystery!!!
I am executing the following loops in R 15.1.0 and the first one works and
produces results. However, the second one is not with initiating the object
as x[i]. Further, I was able to get the second loop work in R 15.0. Am I
missing something here?
for(i in 1:length(b))
{y[i]<-paste(a,b[i],c,sep="")
print(y[i])
print(fromJSON(file=y[i],method="C"))
}

Walds Z in a mixed model
I recently reviewed a paper that used Wald's Z in a mixed model
analysis. The dataset (see end of message for complete dataset) has
individual animals (SAMPLE) from within social groups, from within
geographic regions. Y is the response variable. The paper ran a mixed
model with year and region as fixed effects, group a random effect
nested within region, and sample nested within group. I

MoH mysteriously stopped working
Folks, I have somewhat of a serious issue here. My music on hold
mysteriously stopped working. I have made no changes to my Asterisk box
in the past month and up until an hour ago, MoH was working fine (as far
as I know).

Mysterious (bogus?) rsync(d) errors -- (code 23) at main.c(1045)
...same users, with the same UIDs,
exist on both servers
rsyncd.conf is further down this message
On trying sync'ing by both the "push" and "pull" methods (i.e. either by
copying from the local directories to the other server's rscynd, or the other
way), we are getting mysterious failures to rsync.
The command line used is:
/usr/bin/rsync --perms --owner --group --times --recursive --safe-links
--delete-after server2::postgres-data /pgdata
Which transfers a whole bunch of data, and then gives these failures:
chown . : Operation not permitted

[LLVMdev] The mysterious case of the missing GlobalVariables.
If the globals don't have 'external' linkage, the optimizers will
happily eliminate them. If they are marked external, attaching the .bc
file, reduced if possible, will give people a better chance of helping
you.

duplicate entry mystery
I have a rails app that has a sync feature which looks up a remote database and
updates the local database accordingly. Anyway, things work great for the most
part, but there is a section of code which seems to randomly raise errors. I
have something like this:
homelinks = Syncinventorydesc.find(:all)
InventoryDescription.delete_all()
for link in homelinks

mysterious ''duplicate entry'' database error when building table
hi,
i tried posting this yesterday, but i never saw my message make it to the list
so i suspect something went awry..
my rails app has some ''sync'' code where it connects to a remote db, grabs the
records from a table, deletes all the records from a table which is a local
copy, and then rebuild the table with the records fetched on the remote db..
it boggles the mind how a

Problem with scheduled task mysteriously stopping
Hi there,
I have a scheduled task which I started from Rails, set to run every
5 minutes, it takes probably about 20-30 seconds to execute (it''s
aggregating some feeds). It ran for about 5 hours and then
mysteriously stopped -- the logs show no errors.
This kind of sucks because it''s like a silent failure, has anyone
else had this problem?

rsync backup to fileserver - mystery
that diff has /misc/misc/ in the second compare argument. Not sure if thats the exact command you have been entering or if you retyped it. If that is a good path or is rsync creating new ?misc? folders inside your original misc folder?
