Rails - Apr 2011 - how to serialize an xml node

I would like  to transform an xml node into a RoR model but I don''t
know how to start ..
 I started using Nokogiri ( easy for newbie to get simple needs ...
but this one is more complex for my current level of understanding ...
xml node  :

       <localized>
             <locale>
                 <code>en_GB</code>
                 <title>Special Team</title>
                 <description>Academy Guests</description>
              </locale>

		<locale>
                <code>en_US</code>
			……..
		</locale>

		<locale>
                <code>es</code>
			……..
		</locale>
        </localized>

 I defined   in my model  :  serialize :localized, Array

I should get an Array of Hash to be serialized
[ {:code => "en_GB", :title =>  "Special Team", 
:description =>
"Academy Guest"}, {:code => "en_US", :title =>  ….. }
, {:code =>
"es", :title =>  ….. } ]

how should I proceed or look for info ..
