Dear all, trying to build some Heimdal-based packages for Samba AD DC under openSUSE I am facing some difficulties with the build system: During the installation which is triggered by "make install" waf complains about some task dependency cycle after leaving folder bin/default. Full log including config options can be seen unter https://build.opensuse.org/

[v2v PATCH] tests: fix location to generated images
Some of the libvirt XMLs for tests refer to a generated phony disk image, and so far the relative path used worked almost by chance. (For each disk, the path to it was ../test-data/etc, and since the overlay pointing to it is stored directly in $LIBGUESTFS_CACHEDIR, which is $buildir/tmp, then the relative path was resolv...

odfWeave 0.7.17 stutters on Debian testing 64-bit amd64 systems.
...to be very implementation specific (reproductible on three Debian testing amd64 machine, does *not* happen on two i686 Debian testing systems, does *not* happen on an Ubuntu 11.06 amd64 machine) and therefore not attributable to odfWeave itself (which is pure R) but to a software component it uses (XML and the underlying libxml2, R itself, etc ...), but I need to know how to track this problem. Apologies fror cross-posting to r-help and r-debian-sig, but I think that the issue is ... complicated and might not be as Debian-specific as it seems at first view. Sincerely, Emmanuel Charpentier...

Output XML to File
I am trying to read some information based on a user id, then search the database for the needed info and build an XML file. Everything seems to be working fine; I read the info, I create the xml and even spit "stuff" out to file. The issue is that the "stuff" I am writing to a file is a xml/html cross cluster #@%$ of stuff. Here is some code: if !params[:id].blank? @user = User.find_by_i...
