Rails - Jan 2006 - can components have model?

Hi all, I''m trying out components now,  but run into problem,
I have a component call remark, that is render in the customer page,  so
that user can add remarks for customer.  But when I try to load the page, it
never got loaded.

I wonder if components can have model as well?
