Hi Railers,
I need country_select to give me ISO-3166 country codes (the two letter
alphabetic "alpha2" ones). I''ve seen Multilingual Rails at:

That has the function I need, but I really don''t need the rest of it,
since
this is literally the only function I need. I''m wondering whether:
1. To install the whole thing anyway (would it affect anything else?)
2. To just chop out the bits I need and build my own helper from them.
3. Perhaps if someone else has already made a country_select with an ISO-3166
alpha2 option?
In a way, seems like something that should be part of the core Rails country
select helper, since I would have thought this kind of thing is be a pretty
common requirement - seems like a "sensible default" option to me.
I''m gonna sleep on it and see which one seems most tempting in the
morning -
but if anyone has any advice or code to share, that''d be much
appreciated.
