R help - Jan 2008 - Random Forest

Is there an Interaction function in the Random Forest algorithm in the current

No (at least not in the randomForest package).  Prof. Breiman regarded
that feature as "experimental", and said he wouldn't mind not
having it
in the R version.  I don't know if Prof. Cutler has done more work in
that area.
