[R] JOB: Biostatistician/Statistical Programmer/Data Analyst
Biostatistician/Statistical Programmer/Data Analyst The Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology, University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a Biostatistician/Statistical Programmer/Data Analyst to assist with several center-wide immunology and infectious disease research studies. The biostatistician will work with senior statisticians and other senior biomedical investigators to prepare data analysis plans, perform study design and sample size calculations, clean data, perform data analyses on complex datasets, produce tables and graphs in publication-quality form, and present results to senior investigators. Additional duties include review of data collection tools and data quality control plans. Basic Qualifications: Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or combination of education and experience. At least 3 years of experience. Knowledge of statistical techniques and statistical programming in SAS (including SAS graphics) or S-Plus/R is also needed. Additional Qualifications: Excellent technical, computer, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently, under supervision, and as a part of a team.
