What is it about qqnorm that does not meed your needs? Have you
considered the option "datax=TRUE"? You can store the results of
qqnorm
using "plot.it=FALSE" and then plot using "plot( ...,
axes=FALSE)".
Then add "axis" manually to label points with probability rather than

in addition to standard deviations.
