Hi, My stream is up and running until today evening somewhen (CET). http://scapa.dnsalias.net/oggmusic.m3u or directly: http://scapa.dnsalias.net:8066/test.ogg It's tested already, so it should work, but I don't know much about the reliability yet. Icecast1 unreproduceable segfaulted on me sometimes and that's what I want to know with Icecast2, too. It DID segfault today, but only instead of properly terminating (I pressed CTRL-C and it said "bye" with a segmentation fault). This happened while the source was still connected and sending data. The stream is 32kbps/mono/44.1kHz and limited to 2 external listeners (there isn't enough overhead for 3 ;P), the source is a 140-hours-playlist on random, containing several different styles and genres. Any feedback is welcome! Moritz P.S.: If you stumble over the "website" on my gateway, gently ignore it. :) It's not only ugly, it's also outdated. -- _______________________________________________________________________ "They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security" - Benjamin Franklin --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. > Icecast1 unreproduceable segfaulted on me sometimes and > that's what I want to know with Icecast2, too. They share very little code. There should not be common problems.> It DID segfault today, > but only instead of properly terminating (I pressed CTRL-C and it said > "bye" with a segmentation fault). Also, icecast 2 has been pretty stable for the BBC. Uptimes of several weeks. jack. --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
