-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 The recent thread on archiving CDs with flac has prompted me to ask a few questions about flac and metadata: 1.1) It appears that metaflac only imports limited information from a cuefile. Text data (ie: Title, Artist) and any comments are removed from the file. I can kind of see eating the comments, but why are the perfectly valid text fields not getting saved? 1.2) Alternately is there some other method of tagging the tracks in a single large flac file so each track can have proper artist/title information? 2) Is there any way to store CD-TEXT data in the flac file along with the cue sheet? I very much like the way things are headed, with a single flac file (and embedded cue sheet) able to look like a CD to audio players, but along these lines it would be nice if all data necessary to create an accurate duplicate of the original CD could be stored in the flac file as well. - -- Charles Steinkuehler cstein@newtek.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.4 (MingW32) iD8DBQFFHBfAenk4xp+mH40RAmf7AJwPPLTyPth2/3w6jWlK9oiAJ/E9LwCgsNLK fmHj+QC9aIaqxAJYKtmXcCU=bsE/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
