dovecot - Jul 2004 - Newbie: fetchmail -> procmail -> IMAP (Dovecot) -> MUA?

I use Fedora Core 2, but I do not think that will matter, it should work
for SuSE also I think.

as i created the rpms:
my steps to get a working setup:
1. install postfix,fetchmail,dovecot
2. configure postfix via /etc/sysconfig/mail /etc/sysconfig/postfix
3. run SuSEconfig
4. create a selfsigned cert for ssl (script in
/usr/share/doc/packages/dovecot)
5. enable ssl in the dovecot config
6. chkconfig dovecot on
7. rcdovecot start
8. configure fetchmail (not a topic on this list)
9. working setup reached at least for system users

depends on your needs the comments are very helpfull. and look in the
printed manuals or the pdf versions of it.
