Hi, this is the first time I install linux on a dell server. Simply I booted from a centos 5.5 x64 dvd but I cant see the disks.. is there something I miss ? thanks very much for any help luigi

This is a very common question - servers with RAID controllers need to set up with your chosen disk configuration first - when they're happy they will announce their effective device to the OS where the usual partitioning and md-raid, lvm etc can take place.
