R help - Jul 2009 - Fitting a trend-line

Hi all,
         I am new to R. How does one go about fitting a trend-line to a
scatter plot? Any help is appreciated.

Why dont you do a linear regression?

Hi Anupam,
Have a look at the help page for the abline function in the graphics 
package.
