R help - Jul 2009 - system() how to make a program run a specific file

I'd like to know how to call a program to run or open a specific  file.

 

something like this:

system('"C:\\Program Files
(x86)\\IrfanView\\i_view32.exe"','-A:\\
teste.jpg') is not working.

 

any help will be appreciated

After all it's very easy:

system(paste('"C:\\Program Files
(x86)\\IrfanView\\i_view32.exe"','A:\\test.jpg'))
