Rails - Apr 2006 - too much in the log file

I just upgraded to 1.1 and I am now seeing huge amounts of information 
in my development.log file. It seems like verbose is on, but it is not. 
I have set a break point and checked the value and it is not on. Has 
anyone else seen this? Does anyone have an idea?
