Is there a version of the pv_ops kernel that will do HVM and work with fc11? I have been failing miserably trying to get it to work. I have followed Boris''s guide at: http://bderzhavets.wordpress.com/2009/06/10/setup-fedora-11-pv-domu-at-xen-3-4-1-dom0-kernel-2-6-30-rc6-tip-on-top-of-fedora-11/ But have had no success so far. I am wanting to know what is the version of the pv_ops kernel that others have gotten to work. I have been able to compile everything and it begins to boot but it fails and I am not in front of the console to post the message here. :( Maybe if one of my damn servers actually had a serial port I could hookup my console server!!!! # git checkout origin/rebase/master -b rebase/master
You should be able to build 2.6.31-rc5 (pvops) supporting HVM
I tested rc4 (64-bit) about 10 days ago.

Thanks Boris. I followed the instructions here and it gets to this point: Mounting /proc filesystem Mounting /sysfs filesystem Creating /dev Then it just hangs. Any idea whats causing it to stop? Jon, I never experienced problem like yours with F11 on Core2Duo or Quad 9X50 (SATA) Boxes. I would post it to xen-devel mailing list with serial console output. What kind of hardware you are running on ?
