I see that ''vi'' calls up a version of vim, but it appears to be in vi-compatability mode without all the snazzy features. Or is there a way to turn that behavior on in the existing install? Anyhow, thanks for offering up this service. -Pawel _______________________________________________ Rails mailing list Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails

May I suggest adding cvs? ;) On 9/12/05, Joe Clarke <joemclarke-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org> wrote:> > I have launched a free Ruby on Rails hosting site as my gift back to > the rails community. This is wonderful! Was able to create and account and login without any problems. It automatically created a app hierarchy for me. Having both Postgress and MySQL available is a plus. I still haven''t decided which one I prefer, so I can play with whichever one strikes my fancy at the moment. One thing though. Is ssh turned on by default? When I try to connect, an ''unknow error'' is returned? Also, svn would be nice to have. Don''t take this wrong. Its'' still a great place to play.
