createrepo command for 6.4 respin
Hi List,
I have been searching for the correct createrepo command to make a 6.4 respin.
We have been doing this with previous versions using
createrepo -u "media://$discinfo" -g ${DIR}/my_kickstart${VER}/comps.xml .
Which had worked fine until now.
Thanks,

Clark method enhancement to ChainLadder package
...sion 0.1.4-0 of the ChainLadder package is available via CRAN and
http://code.google.com/p/chainladder/
The ChainLadder package, which is focused on claims reserving methods
typically carried out by property/casualty insurance actuaries, has recently
been enhanced to implement the methods in David Clark's 2003 CAS (Casualty
Actuarial Society) *Forum* paper "LDF Curve-Fitting and Stochastic
Reserving: A Maximum Likelihood Approach." Clark's methods are ready to be
put to use on a wide variety of "triangles".
To see a demonstration of the example in Clark's paper (Ch...

Would it be possible to get CONFIG_ARPD turned on in the
centosplus 6.x kernel? It is required to use opennhrp.
See the link below where is was decided to turn it on in Fedora.

Some quick googles only turned up articles about RHEL on Dell Laptops
in 2012 - nothing with RHEL seems to be current only with Ubuntu 14.04 .

And this really shouldn''t work (and doesn''t):

Anyone have a trick they like?

Laptop for CentOS
Hello,
Has anyone used the Dell M3800 (ubuntu) laptop to run CentOS 6.x? If so how did it work out?
Also does anyone have a fairly new laptop they are running CentOS 6.x on, that they are happy
about? I am in the market for a new laptop and it must run CentOS 6.x.
Thanks,

Fair warning after helping Timothy Clark out, is ill advised and warn
you stay away from this guy. While he talks a good talk, and

Re-sieve emails

This would also be useful for testing.

R Base Code
Hello all,
I need to imitate the 'q' function (qnorm, qweibull, etc) for Clark's 2Dt

thought I could find the base code for one of the existing 'q' functions and
just modify it. However, I'm having trouble navigating through the R Source
Code on the CRAN website. I've searched s...

looking for alternative to SME & Clark Connect
Hi all,
I'm looking for a (preferably free) alternative to SME / Clark Connect.
I basically need the following:
- firewall
- nat
- VPN
- bandwidth limiting / monitoring
- email (SMTP / POP3 / IMAP) & groupware
- file & printer sharing
- RAID support
- if possible fail-over / high availability support.
I need to support about 15 - 30 (some part time) students...
