samba - Jan 2004 - netbios-ns failing (looping)

Hello everybody,

I installed samba 3.0.1 on a solaris 8 and I don't understand the message 
in /var/adm/messages

... netbios-ns/udp server failing (looping) service terminated

The command niscat services.org_dir returns

netbios-ns netbios-ns tcp 137 netbios name service
netbios-ns netbios-ns udp 137 netbois name service

Any ideas

nmbd should not be run from inetd - it should be run from a normal init
script, started as a deamon.
